Our Story

After 14 years with the name “Pane Vino e San Daniele”, we have decided to go back to the original name of this historic restaurant.
This magical “campo”, off the beaten tracks of tourism has always enchanted Venetians and tourists as it's a privileged corner of the city.
While retaining our current identity, we also want to make the most of the traditions of those who were born and grew up in this square and get our foreign guests to experience and enjoy the beauty of this open air Venetian theatre.
We will continue serving our unmistakable San Daniele cured raw ham (prosciutto), together with Venetian, Friulian and Sardinian specialities and creating new dishes with many other top quality Italian ingredients.
And last but not least have a look at our new wine list. You will find many well known brands, but also many new wines to discover. We will be happy to help you choose the right wine according to your taste and your meal.

At Trattoria Anzolo Raffaele you will find a fine selection of food and wines. The menu offers many genuine and home made dishes which change seasonally. Our specialities include home made pasta such as tortelloni or lasgagnas, soups and meat courses. Our desserts are also specialities of the house and change daily. We are able to satisfy your desires!
